    Salam Aleekm ..

I wanted to study from OT (notes/lectures) and solving questions from
Kaplan exam kit. But I want to know how to Link between OT chapters (Notes) and KAPLAN exam kit.

In Kaplan exam kit there is 5 Topics (A,B,C,D&E) while in OT we have 29 Chapters without mentioning which chapters will cover the Topic A or B or … etc.

    Regards,

If you look at the syllabus (link to ACCA www at the bottom of the AA resources page) you will see that the syllabus structure is:
    A. Audit framework and regulation = Chapters 1-4 & 7
    B. Planning and risk assessment = Chapters 8 & 9 also 24 & 25
    C. Internal control = Chapters 12-15
    D. Audit evidence = Chapters 10, 11, 15 – 23
    E. Review and reporting = Chapters 5 & 6 and 26, 28 & 29
(These titles correspond to the 5 objectives on page 3 of our AA notes.)
Our notes do not strictly follow the syllabus order because we believe, for example, that to understand the “doing” of an audit, you have to understand what is the end result – so we introduce auditor’s reports early in our lectures (and the notes follow the order of the lectures).
