Hi sir, it is stated in my textbook, regarding the role of an oversight body
” It is there to comply with government rules on whichever public sector governance applies”
what does this mean ? I don’t understand
It just means that the body has the responsible for ensuring governmemt rules are being adhered to. Eg in the UK health service, oversight is needed to ensure health authorities and hospitals are complying with national guidelines.
okay sir thank you.
