it seems that mostly we get one mark for each explanation( assume we are not taking into account of materiality and etc).
That means, to get one mark, do we need one main sentence and supporting sentence to support that one main sentence ? and will these 2 sentences suffice to get that one mark(assuming the quality of the answer is acceptable) ?
because it’s first time i see the marking scheme lay out 1 distinctive mark and im not quite sure how many sentences to write to get 1 mark.
The AAA/(P7) marking guides have always shown lists of the points that earn “generally up to 1 mark”. If you make that point in one sentence, one sentence is enough.
It is mostly where the requirement is to “evaluate” or “discuss” that you will need more than one sentence – the 1st to describe/explain what it is you are evaluating/discussing and the 2nd to evaluate/discuss it.
