I have question concerning NIC. If a person receives very big salary, his NIC rate will stay the same, or there is such maximum NIC amount transferred, so when reached that level no need to pay NIC more in the currecnt tax year?
I am asking that because in my country we have such level..
try to check FA with updates for 10/11 to clarify this for yourself.
However, it looks like there is no upper limit.
Employee will need to pay 11% on
£(43,875 – 5,715) = £38,160
and additional 1% for the excess.
Ansi is correct
