Guys please help me out. I’ve heard that to attempt a Skill Module (F4-F9) you should clear the Knowledge module(F1,F2,F3) first. But I wanted to appear for paper F5 & F6 this June. I’ve completed my A Levels and passed F4 in December 2010. I haven’t attempted any CBE’s yet. Do I have to clear any one of the Knowledge module paper to sit in one extra manual in this June? Or can I attempt F5 & F6 without clearing any of these Knowledge module papers?
April 11, 2011 at 4:22 am #80747It’s true that to attempt any of skills module paper u need to clear knowledge module.
That also means that u can sit skills module paper if at the same session u are sitting all the outstanding papers from knowledge module.
That means u can sit F1,F2,F3, F4 at the same sitting ,or F1 , F2 at one sitting, then F3, F4 at another sitting.
However, ur situation confused me alot.
You didn’t get exemptions from knowledge module by chance?? If u didn’t , how u got acess to skills module. You would not be allowed to sit F4 otherwise. However, since u already got access to skills module, looks like u can keep passing skills module papers.
But honestly, to my opinion something is wrong here.maybe u should contact ACCA on this matter.
It will take them ages to reply , but at least u would get a clear answer .
Or u can call them to get a quick reply.good luck
