See BPP exam kits number 34 Velo Racers(6/03), see the answers:
For quotation 2 why has it taken 48 incremental hours and why for quotation 3 it has taken 204.8 total time hours???
For quotation 2 it should have taken total time also, that is (32 multiply by 4) 128.
I am not understanding, please help.

Quotation 2 is just for the 3rd and 4th bikes – so we just need the extra time for the 3rd and 4th bikes.
Quotation 3 is for the first 8 bikes, so we need the total time to make the first 8 bikes.
