Hi Ken,
My name is Sharlene, I messaged you after June sitting with regards to changing from P4 to P5, well I did follow advice in resitting P4 at the September sitting, however my result was basically the same as previously failing miserably. That was my 3rd attempt and I am not improving so I have decided to change to P5. I know it is just as challenging but I have reached this far being my final paper so I am quite aware that hard work is required.
My aim though is to prepare over the next 6 weeks to sit APM for December sitting. Please advise me whether you thing this is possible.October 23, 2018 at 4:38 pm #479580Sharlene, I’ve moved this to the Ask the Tutor forum (and posted in it to bump it up to the top). Ken and the other tutors tend to mainly look at the Ask the Tutor forums, so if you want advice from them that’s where you need to post.
October 24, 2018 at 8:29 am #479626Sorry to hear about your P4 problem.
It is possible to do APM in 6 weeks, but that depends on how much time you can devote to it. Use our notes and lectures and the ACCA technical articles. However, it is VITAL that you do lots of question practice using downloaded Qs and As from ACCA or from a BPP/Kaplan revision kit.
APM is almost all application with very little repetition of rote learning.
