I have been through so much in last month s that I didn’t have time to start my work just selected the topic now and finished my project objective s is one month sufficient for me to complete my project ?mentors on this forum please reply
Unless you are up against the 10 year time limit rule I think you are best off deferring to Period 38. The more hurried a report the greater the chance of a fail (and wasting GBP340 on the submission fee).
As I have pointed out to students it is not just producing a 7,500 word report (which has to be well referenced) but also presentation slides, a spreadsheet AND a 2,000 word self-reflective statement.
I always advise starting as early as possible – but even 1 or 2 of my own students who started in August or early September are finding it hard going getting everything done !
I am trying to encourage more students to start early (for Period 38 by offering ‘early bird’ rates) and hope other mentors will do the same (and consider reduced fees for starting early) – it is in everyone’s interest to take the time to produce a quality report (and avoid the stress of everything being left to the last minute)
