Hi there,
I am a Spanish student who wants to sit the F2 and F3 exams in June 2011. I have some questions but the most important one is to know if you would recommend home study for these 2 papers. By home study I mean studying from the study text and revising with the revision kit. I studied Business in Spain with several Accounting modules so I know about Accounting. I just think don’t need to waste money on going to classes. What do you recommend?
Is the new BPP Platinum book collection the best one? They are the only Platinum provider so I guess they are good and I like the general style in their books.
Do you recommend F3 UK or F3 International? I read International is better for F3 and UK is better for Tax and Law. Is that correct?
Kindest Regards,
Jon.
P.S.: do you know any site where I can find vacancies for trainee accountants?

I would recommend home study for F2,F3. F3 is a little bit harder than F2. Luckly we have Opentuition which is a very good website. You can watch their free online lectures. They are really helpful.
Bpp and Kaplan have their own advantages and disadvantages. If you like Bpp, you can use it. Suggest you to buy both bpp and kaplan revision kits. You know, practice is very important.
I used bpp. Recommend F3 International.
Good luck
