    I dont understand why they are crediting the current account with drawings when in the study text it says drawings DR Current Account

    ?? The answer for this question isn’t crediting A’s current a/c for drawings. The picture you’ve put up, and the answer; clearly shows that the drawings are debited i.e reducing A’s account.
    Left side debit; right side credit. Hope this helps!
