I will be taking the F5, F6 & F7 exams in June 2011. Can I buy old books for this exams or do I have to buy the new books. Are there any major changes in the syllabus? Please advice

    Thanks

    Your advise is highly appreciated.

There have been changes to the syllabuses for all three exams.

The changes for F6 are very big – you must have new books. (All the tax rules change each year as well).

The changes for F7 are small – the old books (plus OpenTuition notes) are OK.

The changes for F5 are not so big, but there are a few. Best to have a new book but otherwise download the new OpenTuition notes.
