Hi people. Currently taking F4 for June 2011 and have a question abt agents’ implied authority.

Do we have 3 types of implied authority, namely incidental, customary and usual implied authority?? Was checking my notes and was quite confused. Can anyone shed some light on this situation?

    Thnxs!!

Hi and thx for the reply.

In fact i already got the answer by research. Abt the necessity and estoppel above, I am quite sure it refers to the ways of establishing agency relationship.

As for my question, according to wikipedia, Implied authority is also known as implied usual authority, i.e authority an agent possesses by virtue of his position held. Check the case watteau vs fenwick.

    Thnx again
