Sales volume variances can be split into mix and quantity which i understand. However the volume variance can also be split into planning and operational variances (size and share) is this relating to the mix and quantity i don’t quite understand this point in the notes?

Planning and operational variances are only asked when there is only one product being sold.
(I hope you are watching the lectures and not simply using the notes. Using the notes without the lectures is pointless – they are lecture notes and it is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes. If you are not watching the lectures then you need to study using a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers.)
August 30, 2018 at 11:09 am #470140Thank you. I am using your lectures and notes, and ACCA pocket notes, text and revision kit.
