Hi Sir,
kindly explain me how beurocracy plays a major element as a barrier to free trade?
It would have helped if you had given me the reference for where you found this quote but, off the top of my head, bureaucracy is another (fancy) way of saying ‘red tape’ and the more red tape that there is, the more hoops you have to jump through to satisfy the minutia of rules, regulations and form filling necessary to import or export goods from one country to another
That’s one reason why the European Union and, particularly, Schengen makes international trade within the Union so straight-forward
Heaven help the UK when / if Brexit eventually goes through with or without a negotiated settlement – I’m still waiting to hear of the first new hospital being opened funded by all the money that Boris promised would be saved each week – 350 million pounds per week wasn’t it? And the staggering thing is, people believed it!
Does that answer your question?
