I’m having problem intergrating seperate elements effectively. for instance how does buying wisely (procurement)affects inbound logistics. How would keeping customer satisfied affect outbound logistics etc
Many thanks
Part of your buying decision would be who delivers: supplier, 3rd party buyer’s own transport. That would affect price, supplier and inbound logistics. Some companies insist that any supplier is within a few kilometres of them to ensure fast delivery.
Keeping the customer satisfied could be affected by speed and convenience of delivery. For example, many supermarkets have started home deliveries of goods that were ordered over the internet.
