Hi John. This is with reference to the lecture and example on decision tree.
Is it not told in the example that Cordi will only consider doing the cheap refurbishment if the market research is told Poor. Then why are we considering the Shut down as an option in the decision tree. Pls explain. Thanks in advance.
It says that they will consider it, but considering it does not mean that they will definitely do it. They will consider – if they do it then fine, if they decide not to do it then it means shutting down.
(What they obviously will not consider is doing the expensive refurbishment 🙂 )
Thanks John.
You are welcome 🙂
