Sir while answering questions do we have to write in paragraphs or bullet points?
Also, is it necessary to give headings or not?There is nothing wrong with bulleting/dashing points – see for example the published Answer18 of the M/J18 exam. But what you must do is make sure that each bullet is complete – it should “standalone” and have sufficient words for the marker to understand the point you are making. Especially in exams candidates can drift into “note form” points – you must not write in note form.
Appropriate headings and sub-headings are highly recommended as a point of good exam technique – they should help focus your thoughts and give your answer structure. Again, see the published answers to illustrate what is expected.
If we see suggested solutions from 2012-2018 and the way examiner has presented the answer using dash points etc, and if we follow same pattern the way he has followed for answering questions, so would it be fine?
