There seems to be no clarity on what these examiners ask and everyone expects a different answer to the same question which I suppose is how ACCa keep you paying for rewrites. S I have decided to carry on studying but not writing any further exams

The techniques needed are always the same, but in the P level exams you are expected to interpret the information given, decide what techniques are relevant, and make whatever sensible assumptions are needed – just as you would have to do in practice. That is what makes the Professional level ‘professional’ – in the earlier exams it is most less a question of interpreting the information, they are much more just testing that you have learned the techniques.
There is rarely just one correct answer at this level – it depends on what assumptions you make. That is why (especially in the 50 mark question) you are specifically asked to state your assumptions, and your answer is marked according to the assumptions that you make.
It seems a pity to stop taking the exams and therefore not get the qualification.
