How do i know that what i have recorded is the relevant material required by the respective performance objectives.my fear is having my objectives not signed off because what i have recorded is not adequate, appropriate or relevant

And yes, make sure what activities you have mentioned you have some proof (tangible)
Read the elements of the objective carefully.
What I did was, i roughly made some bullet points before typing out the exact thing.
I had broken down my comment into paragraphs in accordance with the elements. So 1 paragraph for each element.
This helped me see whether i am on track or not… because the PES will check your objective comment in accordance with the Elements of the objective.
He can either accept all or some elements of your objectives.
Also, he can either deny all or some elements of your objectives.
Hence, in order to make sure your objective is appropriate and relevant look closely and target the elements individually!
If in case, any element gets denied talk to your PES… ask what you need to do to achieve that element and where you went wrong. U can re-submit that element after making the relevant adjustments.
But keep a watch on the word count and be concise. That’s why I prefer a rough plan as being important…
I hope this helps.
