Hi
If the question ask “what is quality software” and worth 10 marks, what the best way in tackle this?
Haha
‘Quality’ in software is best answered by looking at it under the headings of:
Functionality – what does it do?
Reliability – few bugs
Usability – eg convenient menus etc
Scalability – can we add to it as the business expands
Maintainability – what if tax laws change? Can it be easily adapted?
Platform – there’s no point in buying something that only runs on Apple machines if you are using Window’s based machines.
I got similar answers from my class tutor, the following points can be elaborated.
1.reasonable bug free
2.delivery on time
3.usability
4.flexibility
5.meets initial specificatiom
6.Meets quality control stds.
Thank you.
