‘Quality’ in software is best answered by looking at it under the headings of:
Functionality – what does it do? Reliability – few bugs Usability – eg convenient menus etc Scalability – can we add to it as the business expands Maintainability – what if tax laws change? Can it be easily adapted? Platform – there’s no point in buying something that only runs on Apple machines if you are using Window’s based machines.
