Any difference for process reengineering and process redesign??
and is it the model of DAVENPORT AND SHORT and HARMON can be simply chose to apply?
Process redesign concerns with improve the current process so that it matches with the company’s strategy
Process re-engineering is a radical change to the current process
Harmon can be a useful tool
what about davenport and short?
Davenport and Short are not mentioned in the ACCA study guide and I can’t off hand remember it being mentioned in ACCA answers or in most study texts. Personally, I wouldn’t bother with it.
Harmon is mentioned and has been asked for (or heavily hinted at) in a couple of exams.
