Hi Guys
Do you know if there are any available course notes and exam tips for the Irish F4 December Exam?November 24, 2010 at 6:16 pm #71260Hi shellabells.
I’ve seen your post on a number of pages and felt I should reply to you. I know NOTHING about the Irish law variant so what follows is merely a suggestion. Have you compared the past exam Irish variant with the equivalent past exam English variant? You MAY find that they are pretty similar in which case, try following the English variant tips. However, be suitably warned – these tips are just guesses. Do not rely on them as being indicative of what is going to be asked.
And may I say that there are NO plans to write OT notes on the Irish variant!
Sorry!

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my query, as with all ACCA students its a very hectic time of year and every bit of support is valued. I havn’t went through the English papers but I did notice that a tip for the Eng paper this term ( Interpreting statutes) came up in the Irish paper last year so I can only assume that both papers are not the same or equivalent.
Again thank you, and your probably right in the sense that predictions are just mere guesses.

They may not be the same – but they certainly sound like they have the same stuff in them so they sound like they are equivalents. See what my tips are this time, and possibly also BPP and Kaplan. Try to eliminate all those from the 3 sources which have been asked in the last 3 exams, and then consider what you are left with.
It’s a suggestion – DO NOT RELY ON IT!
But you could try – given there’s so little time left before the exam.
And good luck
