Hi everyone,
It is my first time doing SBR (never done P2 before). I have been told that we need to know F7 for this exam thoroughly, but I was exempt of this. Does anyone know any quick and easy link to video/text document to know the important bits of F7 I need? It is important for me as I have no time to look at everything for the September 2018 exam.
Thank you for your help in advance!

If you look at the exam docs for SBR you will see which standards are new to SBR (e.g. IAS 34) and those which you should know something about already https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/acca/f7/examinable%20documents/fr-sbr-examinable%20documents-S18-J19.pdf
You could use this as a checklist to identify any standards that appear new to you and then refer to the relevant notes for F7 (now FR).March 11, 2019 at 11:44 pm #509102Hello,
I would like to know how important is the knowledge of F7 paper for studying and passing SBR paper. I have exemption from F7 paper but my knowledge is not well as I got this exemption almost 1.5 year ago and didn’t study after, so I forgot a lot from this paper. Now, I don’t want to go back and study F7 paper again, as I have a chance to take directly SBR exam.

I am going to start studying in May by reviewing all F7 notes in open tuition and go through the F7 revision kit from Kaplan to make sure I know what am doing.
Then I will start on the SBR from OT, lectures etc and once done i’ll move on unto the SBR BPP textbook quickly and then jump right into the BPP P&R kit. Planning to go over it at least 3 times and under timed condition. I plan to take the exam in September and I will be attending Kaplan classes as wel, revision and QBD, so I am hoping to be completely knwoledgeable and ready before the classes begin as it really helps wrap it all up.
I have to do this much work because it is my weakest subject and I always want to pass first time, plus I work full time. I wont spend this much time on the remaining 2 exams.
