I just bought my text books for my next exams. Its a bit exciting to get new books 🙂
I sat P2 but there wont be any chance that i will pass so just ordered the SBR text book and to be honest the format is likely to fit me better. So looking forward to that.
Also hope to sit advanced tax. So again a bit excited about that. I did try Advanced Audit last year but didnt like that one at all!
There has also been another change. I finally got my ADHD diagnosed and now on medication. I am much more focused and realised how difficult study/life was for me suffering with my condition. It was a bit sad that I went on my medication two days after sitting P2 so unfortunately it was a just too late this time. As i say though i am looking forward to the next sitting/s.
How is everyone else? Anyone else looking forward to the next sittings? Any fellow ADHD’er?

I’m fine, thanks! 🙂 I ordered my SBR text book and revision kit last week which should get to me this week (hopefully). Yes, after the P2 fiasco I took a week off and started studying again… I have still made room for a holiday next month.
I have also started looking at ATX but am yet to decide if I will take it in September as it’ll be good to get SBR out of the way.
Btw what is Advanced Audit like?

The audit one was ok, i mean it would have been ok if i could remember my standards. I dont really like that type of exam. I passed P5 first time and realised that that was the type of exam that fits me better so looking forward to going for CR again.
I think i would get more from the tax paper, and like you i am really not sure about doing it too soon. Ironically i did well in tax when i did my Masters, but not so good in Audit nor group reporting. I really should have learnt but didnt! I do want to finish this year though.
I just did the ethics module, that was actually worth doing just to get a bit of a refresher and a boost. Its a small win 🙂
