Hi,
Can someone please confirm that you can off set trading profits against capital gains and trading profits? But cannot off set capital gains against trading profits only capital gains? AND capital losses only need to be off set to the annual exemption level? and that trading losses have to be off set on full profit of the year?
Thanks
Thank you
its only capital losses dat are offseted from capital gains and nothing else. but other losses can be offseted from other incomes including capital gain.
Hi Again,
In my original question i seemed to states profits instead of losses in a number of cases.. ooppss!!
Right- So trading losses can be offset against total income (includes interest etc but can also include capital gain)
However a capital loss cannot be offset against a trading profit only capital gains?
Sorry to keep asking same point.
Thansk
