Good day sir
A friend of mine gave paper f5 june 2018 exam and said it was way tougher than any other paper in F series.
Now I am very concerned and want to ask you Firstly, that how should I study in order to make sure that I pass ?
And secondly, I want to ask Can I prepare F5 in 2 months and pass? ( as I am right now preparing to give f1 this month so i will have only July and August to prepare for F5)June 6, 2018 at 4:25 pm #457114Your guidance will be much appreciated ,
Thanks in AdvanceJune 6, 2018 at 4:43 pm #457132First, although F5 to F9 are always harder than F1 to F4 (which are just introductory exams), between the F5 to F9 exams different people find different papers easier or harder – they are all the same level of difficulty, it is just that some people prefer more calculations and others prefer more writing 🙂
F5 is certainly not ‘way tougher’ than F7, F7, F8, or F9 🙂To study, you should download our free lecture notes and then watch my free lectures with the notes in front of you – I work through the examples in the notes, and explain and expand on the notes.
The lectures are a complete free course for Paper F5 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.In addition, you must buy a current edition of a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers (BPP or Kaplan – you can get a special 20% discount on the BPP book by clicking on the link at the top of this page). The Revision Kit is full of past exam questions and additional exam standard questions for practice, and practice is vital to passing the exam.
If you hit anything that you are not clear about – either in the lectures or in the Revision Kit – then ask in this forum and I will help you 🙂
(And note that from now on F5 will not be known as F5 – the ACCA have changed the name to MA 🙂 )

Thank you sir for your guidance as well…one last question that I want to ask again is if 2 months are enough for preparation of MA (F5) ?June 7, 2018 at 6:32 am #457357It obviously depends on how much time within the 2 months you have for studying, but it certainly should be enough.
