For The multilateral requirement for multidrop( Europe) ..I didn’t understand the net payment ..when I calculated it should be 3.59 ..there are only two payments owed. By multidrop ( Europe) ..but y they also including 0.40 from multidrop (u.s) .
On general multilateral qs.
After building the payment and receipts matrix ..how are we reaching the overall payments/ receipts ( in general)
There are 2 payments owed by M Europe – €4.67 to US and €1.66 to Malaysia.
There are 2 receipts owed ti M Europe – €1.66 from Singapore and €8.2 from US
So the net receipt to M Europe is 1.66 + 8.2 – 4.67 – 1.66 = €9.62.
In general you are adding the total receipts and subtracting the total payments in each currency (here it is just done in total for all currencies together because the question says to convert all at mid-market rates).
