    Can you give me a good reason why you used the midmarket rate in ex 11?

    Your question never stated to do so and it made a difference to the buy price on the futures by a fair bit.

    I must admit different people do different things. However there is only one price quoted for futures (whether buying or selling) and so most sensible is to compare with the mid-market price. It may make the answer different, but that does not lose any marks.
