    Dear fellow F9 Students,

I am starting a new F9 study group hopeful with the same structure and efficiency as Salman’s F7 study groups.

I will be preparing documents and question for discussion in ALL sessions.

Please follow the forum for when these documents are made available. DO NOT rely on the documents as your main study tool you are still required to read you choice text.

These sessions will be taking place in the Open Tuition F9 chat room which you can access via the link below: https://opentuition.com/chatroom/

To make the study sessions easy to follow, we will discuss the F9 syllabus in the order of the official ACCA study guide: https://www.accaglobal.com/pubs/students/acca/exams/f9/syllabus/f9_syll_sg.pdf

We will be following this schedule. THE OFFICAL SCHEDULE:

    A. Financial Management

    Monday October 11th @ 6pm UK
    B. Financial Management Environment

    Thursday October 14th @ 6pm UK
    C. Working capital Management

    Monday October 18th @ 6pm UK
    D. Investment appraisal

    Thursday October 21th @ 6pm UK
    D. Investment appraisal

    Monday October 25th @ 6pm UK
    E. Business Finance[Part1]

    Thursday November 4th @7pm UK
    F. Cost of Capital

    Notes 11/22/2010
    G. Business valuations

    Notes 11/23/2010
    H. Risk Management

    Notes 11/25/2010

I am willing to repeat SOME sessions PRIVATELY once it does not clash with the study groups times.

We should all study the relevant chapters before each session has started. The session will reinforce our knowledge of what we have already read.

It has been a wonderful journey this past month, I have found the study session groups to be very lively, educational and fun, and I hope many of you share my sentiments. Together we have been able to cover more than half the syllabus in a short space of time and I thank all of you who participated. Regrettably not all good things last forever.

The F9 Study Session Group (by Davisdadon) has been closed. We’ve been able together to cover more than half the syllabus stopping short of completing – Cost of capital, Business valuation and Risk management. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have or join in on any impromptu discussions in the chat-room.

I look forward to seeing next year where we can pick backup out journey this time in the P-level 🙂

    Cheers,
    Davisdadon
