Hi all,
I was just wondering if the open tuition notes is sufficient enough to pass the exam?
I understand that the best option would be to read the study guide, but I have foudn that sometimes there is a little “waffle” and therefore would just like to read things that are straight to the point and will actually help me pass the exam,
i passed f6 with using the bpp course notes and the practice kit, i didnt even read the study text.
are the open tuition notes similar to the bpp course notes?
any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

With F6 it is all about the tax laws and study guide and kit was the best due to changes in the tax laws….
but for F9 …you have to think beyond your study material .. that is a technical work.. the guy handling F9 here is awesome.. and has given me the understanding of Risk , Cost of Capital, M&M and Working capital .. which was my main problem…. what i do is to use the kit and open tuition… I learn from their video and solve all the question on that topic in the kit … if i forget .. i go back to the Videos…… I use Kaplan and open tuition study book… but BPP is also great …hope this helps 😉

HI willynwilson
The course notes will provide excellent information and points up the most important topics, but will not provide sufficient details of every topic and remember that u will face some question in the exams requiring application of theories and interpretation of calculation, the best way to pass is to practice a lot and have some extended reading of the topicsregards

surely OT notes will give you sufficient knowledge of course and topics..
just what you need to do is to do practice and clear your concepts…
f9 has become conceptual paper now and it is very important to read notes..September 24, 2010 at 4:19 pm #68491@ above all
