Hello sir and thank you for your lectures. I am confused in the following: If I am an audit senior of an audit firm, WHO is my partner? I find this in many questions but I got confused. I guess it’s the audit company but I am not really sure. Thank you very much.
Piggybacking Michael’s question,
There’s also the audit manager. Is there a hierarchy we should know about? Also, what roles do they perform in the audit process. For example, when you’re assessing audit risk for classes of accounts/ assertions during the planning process, and you have to speak with management or do substantive procedures, who exactly will do what?
Hierarchy for an audit engagement cn be~: Partner, manager, Supervisor, Junior staff.
Your partner varies with the assignment and will be the engagement partner for each assignment.
