Hi Sir,
Failed Exam March for the 3rd time .Paid for June Exam .
However just getting chance to start studying today .Can still make it .
Please advise ! Really need your help. Can I still make it .
How to approach itMay 12, 2018 at 3:04 pm #451490You certainly can … dependent upon what other demands there are on your time
You ask for advice on how to go about your preparation (something you should have asked about 4 weeks ago!!!)
Read, as much as you can of:
course notes
examiner’s comments for last three years
technical articles (last 10)
but, most of all, a revision kit start to finishand, if you can read that from start to finish, then do it again
and then again
Just read … don’t try to memorise or learn. Just read
Then, 1 week before the exam, post again for part 2 of my advice on how best to prepare for a retake P7 exam
OK?

Much thanks Sir.
I will give my best .
I will be in touch soon.May 12, 2018 at 8:58 pm #451532I am in the same situation with skinup the only difference is am actually writing p7 and p2 can I follow this exact advice? It’s also worth knowing that it’s my first attempt. Thanks
May 13, 2018 at 6:05 am #451555You can, but you say that the “only” difference is ….
However, with Skinup, June will be his / her fourth attempt so I have assumed a foundation upon which to build that may not apply to you
Are you just starting your preparation or are you well advanced with it? Have you listened to the lectures?
Have you read the (free) course notes repeatedly – only 2 hours from start to finish?Just make absolutely sure that you pass the P2 exam whilst it’s in its present form
Post again should you feel the need to
OK?
May 13, 2018 at 6:12 pm #451698I am familiar with the knowledge as I am a member of another accountancy body but am afraid of been complacent I don’t want to leave anything to chance as the technique may be different
May 13, 2018 at 7:16 pm #451716The techniques cannot be radically different
Yes, by all means apply the advice that I have already given to Skinup
Read, read and read again
And, whenever you hit a brick wall, post again on this forum and I shall help you if at all possible
OK?
