Looking through the revision questions for Section A, I’m not sure exactly when to use quantitative analysis… the model answers usually only use detailed quantitative analysis for one answer in section A when I think it’s possible to use for all questions. Is there a verb to look out for which means use “detailed quantitatve analysis”
They are unlikely to specidy detailed quantitative analysis. The most likely use of QA is in financial appraisal. Often the question will say ‘Analyse the financial and strategic position of…’ Then you must do a bit of QA on the financial results shown. Even if it just says perform a strategic analysis, look out for important financial trends and occurrences.
I don’t know what you mean by saying you think you can use it on all questions: I assume you don’t try to use it if no quantitative information is given.
