A firm of accounts charges its clients an hourly rate . senior staff are charge at TWICE the rate of junior staff . in a period the total amount to be charged to clients was $102340 and the chargeable staff hours were
senior staff 440 hours
junior staff 1260 hours
WHAT IS THE HOURLY RATE TO BE CHARGED TI CLIENT FOR SENIOR STAFF
TIME (TO THE NEAREST $)
A. $48
B.$ 120
C. $96
D. $60
Don’t understand could someone explain
any talented person interested to solve this question!!
its 96 perhaps. coz (440×2)+1260=2140 and then 102340/2140=47.82 or 48.
so 1260×47.82 =60265 and 47.82×2 is 95.64 and 95.64×440 =42082. Now add 42082+60265= 102347. so correct answer is 95.64 or nearest figure is 96 for skilled labour. Hope its clear.
Great work dude . ya its understand
