Would like to tell you that I passed F3.
I believe the key is to just constantly go through the exam kit (either Kaplan AND BPP).
Cheers John for the lectures since they allowed me to understand the content of the syllabus rather than just memorising it for the exam.
April 12, 2018 at 9:56 am #446320That is great news – many congratulations 🙂
April 13, 2018 at 9:29 am #446488Me too, did you do sit it in Manchester?
I cannot stress enough to anyone that they practise the consolidation of accounts, I had two 15 mark questions on this, one on SOFP and one on SOPL.
Thank you for your lectures John, I managed to start the syllabus and pass the test in a little under three weeks.
Now onto F5 + F6 in June!
April 13, 2018 at 10:07 am #446498I sat it in London. I had a 15 marker on the consolidate P&L, the other 15 marker on Statement of Cash flows.
How did you manage to revise F4? I.e. resources used mostly, and time allocated for revision for the exam.
April 13, 2018 at 10:29 am #446500I haven’t done F4 so I can’t help you there!
Due to when I started, my plan was to move through F1-F3 quickly in order to get onto the 3 month exam cycle, which will help structure my learning better and I wanted to sit at least one exam in June. I thought you could only sit F4 on the three month exam cycle – I only realised upon booking the exams that it is on demand and you can do it nearly whenever, so I will come back to it.
Use the videos here, buy the literature if needed, revise and you’ll crack it.
