I am planning to take the UK variant of tax for the F6 exam in December? Does that mean I have to take the same variant for F7 and F8? I am based in the UK however just today I realised that Kaplan offers English variant for F4 and international variant for F7 and F8. I am a bit confused, I would appreciate some help!!!

which variant is better and least complicated? If you are in the uk the normal combination is Uk Tax, Uk Law, reporting/auditing International. These are the one’s that you will find lectures for at colleges or online, so its much easier to get material for them.
The uk stream for reporting is being replaced next year with a new uk stream using the IFRS rather than FRS/SSAP, therefore it would be much easier to just follow the international stream now for F3, F7 and P2, rather than find yourself having to change later.
