    Hi,

    I have course notes for FA 2016, does anyone know if there are any significant changes to FA2017? I am thinking of purchasing a new exam kit, but use the old course notes, is this sufficient?

    Thanks

    The ones I can think of are;
    – CT is now 19%
    – Additional NRB for IHT (£100k)
    – A new 16.5% for Flat rate scheme (VAT)

    There will be others, I’m sure

    This is the fa2017 article:

    If you look at each tax, it will help you clarify the difference but make sure you use a fa2017 exam kit as this will help you get the correct exam technique.
