Sir i watched your lecture regarding cash flow statement example in which you deducted dividend paid from operating cash flow activities.. now i am little bit confuse because i saw in kaplan text they deducted dividend from finance cash flow activities .. when came to exam kit in one example they also deducted dividend paid from operating activities?? So would you please tell me is there have any separate devidend ?? Or both are same??

I do say in the lecture that the accounting standard allows dividends to be shown either under cash flows from operating activities, or cash flows from financing activities – it does not matter which one you show them under.
