    I am sitting P2(UK) in June 2010.

I would really appreciate it if you could clarify the following for me:

The technical articles in the ACCA student magazines all seem to be geared to P2(INT) , most recently the article on Complex groups in the April 2010 issue which refers to articles in the February 2009 and April 2009 issues also.

The articles don’t appear to differentiate between P2(UK) and P2(INT) , the calculation in the above article for example is in IFRS not UK GAAP.

They deal with the impact of IFRS 3 on group accounting and the effect of the new IFRS on changes in ownership and are written by Graham Holt (see attached articles)

    My question is:

How do I know which articles actually apply to P2(UK)?

    Hi Liz

I think that you’ll find that Graham Holt and the magazine actually state at the start of the article which paper and variant that they apply to.

    Hope that that helps

Thanks for getting back to me Werty, they don’t actually state which variant they apply to however i’ve since heard the articles are directed mainly to P2 (INT)
