Hi,
Hope you will be doing gd! Sir i have problem in answering the the case study many times i could not tackle the question and that’s why i failed last time although there was another reason of failing, lack of practice. But sometimes in valuation questions i don’t know what to do and how to value the company or bonds as it came in previous attempt. What do you recommend? Any tips for question tackling? Is it possible if any one from p4 tutor team can provide feed back on my answers( I’ll pay the fee if there is any) that will be very helpful. I also did F9 with opentuition and now after studying p4 once with opentuition, if i listen to other lecturers that sound quite ode. Simply i just can’t understand them. Thank you for making such a simple lectures.I’ll appreciate if you can provide any further assistance.
Thanks!January 31, 2018 at 10:14 am #434147I assume you are referring to question 1 of the exam.
You must practice and practice. I assume that you have a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers (if not then it is essential that you buy one) and you must attempt every question and learn from your mistakes.
In addition, your approach to this question is vital. I have uploaded lectures working through several past exam question 1’s, and in them I discuss the approach to the question as well as obviously working through the technical content.
Remember that their are professional marks for the report, and also that the marks for the appendix are for the workings (not for the final answer) and so it is vital that you set out your report properly, and that you show your appendix workings neatly so that the markers can follow what you are trying to do.
If you encounter any specific problems with either the content of any of the lectures or any of the questions in your Revision Kit, then ask in this forum and I will help you.
We are unable to give feedback on your own answers. If you contact one of the tuition providers in your country, then I am sure that they will be able to do this for you (obviously for a fee).
