    Hello sir,

I’m attempting F7 in March 2018 and I’m preparing for Sections A and B. I know that questions can be asked from anywhere but I just wanted to ask you if there are certain topics which I should emphasise on? Also what would you suggest is the quickest way to prepare for Sections A and B? And also what sources should I rely on?

    Thanks in advance!

There is no way that anyone could possibly forecast any IAS / IFRS as being more or less likely to make an appearance in F7 in March

So I’m not going to try!

Now, as for preparation … it depends on how much study time that you have available but I suggest that EVERY day between now and the exam you spend 2 hours practicing answering multiple choice and multiple task questions … and don’t become disheartened when you are scoring only 15% – 25% in the early days

Keep practicing going over and over the same questions (after a suitable gap of , say, 1 week)

DO NOT write your attempts in the question book itself – write your efforts on a separate piece of paper so that subsequent efforts are not influenced by your earlier guesses

And post again when you hit a question where you don’t understand the answer

    OK?
