sir I had attempted P5, 12 times but failed… marks are 47, 46, 44, like…. Now want to move to P4. Kindly guide.
January 27, 2018 at 10:36 am #433401I don’t know what guidance you are wanting!
P4 is a hard exam. It follows on from F9, and I don’t know how easy or difficult you found F9. There are more calculations than in P5, but there is still a fair amount of writing.
Given that you have been getting marks in the 40’s on P5, and are therefore not so far from passing, I would think longer about whether it is sensible to change.
Have you asked our P5 tutor for advise on how to make sure you manage to pass P5?
January 27, 2018 at 10:52 am #433407Yes I asked P5 tutor about this and here is what I said:
“Sir its my 12th attempt of P5. I don’t know what to do anymore to pass this paper. Need your worthy advice and any help you could provide. However still its my favorite paper and I don’t want to change it with P4 or P6.”
and P5 Tutor Sir Ken reply was::
“Sorry to hear about your trouble with this paper.
I don’t know why it is still your favourite paper! After 12 attempts you must have tried everything you can to pass P5 and, as you say, there’s probably nothing more to try.
I strongly suggest that you switch paper. I would suggest P4. Have a look at the syllabus, some of our material here, and a couple of recent exams.”
___________________________________________________I want to add here that I passed F9 in second attempt. And also I had attempt P4 by studying one week and got 32 marks one year ago.
January 27, 2018 at 4:14 pm #433434In that case, it does seem that changing to P4 would be sensible.
Watch my free lectures, check back to the F9 lectures if come across anything that you don’t remember from F9, and buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers and attempt and learn from every question.
And ask in this forum if you encounter anything that you are not clear about 🙂
