As far as i have experienced so far, there’s no specific restriction on type of calculator. Any type of scientific calculator is allowed provided that it has not too many advanced options.

There’s no topic wise weightage in MCQs. MTQs usually come from Financial Statements and Consolidation, only a few times from Depreciation.

In the examination hall, you are provided with a rough paper for working. You have to write your name and registration number on it and submit it before leaving the hall. You can ask for more if you need.

Thank you for the reply. Well I couldn’t able to judge the right calculator because I saw somewhere in this forum that ACCA doesn’t allow text display calculators, but in the market most of the calculators showing “balance, PV, log etc.,” like texts. Is these types are allowed?
    Thanks….

For F3 paper, even the simplest calculator is enough. There’s no complexities in this paper. Only basic functions are required. Thats it!

Calculators which display mathematical functions are allowed. What isn’t allowed is programmable calculators which can store text. For example, the Casio FX-85GTPLUS is allowed but the Casio FX9750G+ isn’t.
