Started in March 2016 after Alevels in BS, Economics and Accounts. I passed F1 and F3 in April 2016 by self study securing 69 and 87%, Good grip on Alevel accounts and f3 allowed me to prepare quickly for F7 which i passed in june 2016 by 70%.
Then i started preparing for f4 and f5, F4 was on self and with f5 i was taking classes, I passed f4 in sept 2016 by 55% and f5 by 70%, I had great section C in f5 which yielded me marks.
Then i appeared for F8 and F9 in dec 2016, It was tough time for me as i had no one to teach audit in my area then i came across open tuition, Sir Ken Garrett is a special teacher whose audit lectures helped me to pass f8 with 70% although the exam was pretty tough for me with unusual question kn cash internal controls, At the same time i took classes for f9 and passed it with 82%
My next attempt was march 2017 with F6 and P1, F6 was very tough for me as it was rote learning and i was taking classes, Similarly P1 was dry and tough, OT lectures helped me very well in P1 unfortunately i did not use OT for F6 as i lacked time however i passed f6 with 65% and P1 with 70% although i doubted i may fail P1.
Then in June 2017 i was giving P3 and P5, Again Sir Ken Garrett is a super teacher who has taught me insane skills, I cant thank him and OT enough for their P3 and P5 lectures. But i suffered a set back here as i failed disastrous j2017 p5 exam with 43% although i passed p3 with 61%, But I did not loose confidence and re prepared to pass p5 with 58% in sept 2017, Sir Ken Garrett is an amazing teacher and deserves all the praise and most special mention.
In dec 2017 i finally gave p2 and p7, OT lectures for p2 are very helpful as i foind while i took classes for p7 and finally passed p2 and p7 with 64 and 62%.
Acca is all about concept and method, You need not to study hard but also study smart, Good Alevels background also helped me alot. I have worked very hard, practiced on exam technique which is what to me is key
