Sir in the following question ,answer is Bpp kit says option A. But I cannot understand it. Can you please explain. Also constructive dismissal, summary dismissal and expiry of fixed term contract without renewal are these 3 examples of unfair dismissal?

In order to proceed with a claim for unfair dismissal, the employee must show that they were dismissed.
Which of the following is not counted as dismissal for unfair dismissal purposes?
    A Employee resigning
    B Constructive dismissal
C Expiry of a fixed-term contract without renewal
    D Summary dismissal

From your previous posts it is clear that you have a BPP study text

Please, may I ask that you look up these terms within that text – I’m sure that BPP would not leave you in the dark about these matters

    OK?

(It is clear to me that, where an employee resigns, it is likely to qualify as unfair dismissal because resignation is a voluntary act whereas dismissal tends to be an action normally against the employee’s wishes)
