    I do understand what an arbitration agreement is but what do they mean by arbittration clause ? I read that arbitration clause can be treated as a separate independent part of the contract.

    It’s a clause within a contract whereby the two contracting parties agree to submit any disagreement to an independent arbitrator

    If there were no such clause, and there was a disagreement, either of the two could object to arbitration as a means of settling the dispute and that would leave the other party with the only course to take as the course that involves the legal system and (expensive) Courts

    OK?
