Suppose I’m able to finish all my workings but don’t have time to tie up the fin statement. Can I get at least 75% of the allocated mark for that question?

You sound like you’re being defeatist! What’s the matter with thinking “Suppose I finish the exam and all the questions balanced? Will I be able to score 100%?”

There’s no way that you should be in that exam if you’re thinking that it’s going to take 3 hours 15 minutes simply to produce workings!

A question requirement would typically be “Prepare the consolidated statement …..”

It doesn’t ask you simply to prepare some workings

In direct answer to your question, probably not, because you’ve failed to answer the question requirement

    OK?
