Hello Sir,
Centralization and Decentralization…are these necessarily types of structures in themselves or just characteristics of the main organisational structures (functional, divisional, matrix) ?
E.g.. a divisional structure having major strategic decisions taken centrally at the corporate head office but being given the power to take other tactical decisions at the division?
Kindly clarify.

Characteristics of the main structures.
The organisation chart tells you little about how much power/decision-making is devolved downwards. Centralisation/decentralisation refers to power.
