    Hi John

I can’t work out how to do this. You did showed us how to calculate that but I am struggling anyway.

The first batch took 750 hrs to make. The total time for the first 16 batches is 8500hrs. What is the learning rate?
    Answer: 92%

    Thank you
    Oksana

    16 batches involves doubling 4 times (2, 4, 8, 16).

The average time per batch when we make 16 is 8500/16 = 531.25

    Therefore, if r is the learning rate, 750 x r^4 = 531.25
    So r^4 = 531.25/750 = 0.70833

    Therefore r = fourth root of 0.70833 = 0.92 (or 92%)
