Sir i didnt understand here first about the market value and book value ? Part c i didnt understand i didnt found the lecture on market hypothesis sir
As you will know from my lectures, we normally calculate the WACC be using the total market values of debt and equity as the weighting.
If (and it is very rare in the exam) you are asked for the book value WACC, then instead of using market values you use the total nominal values as the weighting.
There was no part c in the actual exam question (maybe the book you are using has added their own part c). The efficient market hypotheses is explained in the second chapter of our free lecture notes and the lectures that go with it.
Thank you very much sir
You are welcome 🙂
